Cooperating with different partners allow Foodintech to be exposed to different markets
27 Sep 2021
We asked our partners to rate the experience to collaborate in SAFER or reflect the benefits that the project has brought to their organisation or region.
Interreg Atlantic Area funded SAFER project is coming to an end and we asked our partners to rate the experience to collaborate in SAFER or reflect the benefits that safer has brought to their organisation or region. This week we talked with Miguel Fernandes CEO of Foodintech and this is what she says about to the SAFER project experience.

1-How do you rate the experience of having participated in the SAFER project?
For Foodintech it was a great experience, majorly because we were able through SAFER Project, export and implement with substantial success our FLOW M Technology to France and Ireland. Another very positive aspect was the good level of the project coordination.

2-What's the added value of cooperating with partners from other regions? How is your region benefiting from this cooperation?
Cooperating with partners from other countries allow Foodintech to be exposed to different markets, and with the 2 pilots implemented we could validate that FLOW M technology has an international Market.
Regarding our regions, a concrete benefit was the implementation of a FLOW M pilot in Nortsea seafood industry, with minimum financial coats for this SME Company.

3-What impact and legacy do you think SAFER project will leave in your region?
Foodintech was able to expose the directory of services and technology collected within the seafood Industries in North of Portugal, and I am sure that some had use some of these services and technologies.

4-Looking to the future, what would you like to see for your organisation/region based on your experience in SAFER?
As I said, SAFER supported Foodintech internationalization, for us would be great to continue this internationalization supported by SAFER type of projects, with value added to Foodintech and the companies who as implemented de FLOW M technology.
